The Fossil Park Minor Division, formerly known as the Minor-Major Division is competitive baseball for
children 9 - 10 years of age and eligible 8 year olds with skills to play at this level. Fossil Park
competitive division baseball leagues have been winning championships for over 40 years. The Florida
Little Major League Minor-Majors has won state titles in five of the the last 7 years with placing
third over in the state in 2003. Their latest accomplishments were the 2006 Florida State Championships
for the 9 and Under Division and placing in the semi-final rounds of the Dizzy Dean World Series.
Over 100 kids will try out in this division each year trying to earn one of only 20 to 35 openings.
In this league, scores and stats are maintained and are posted at the discretion of the managers.
