With the diligent help from many of our volunteers and friends traveling
to our city, we were able to complete 2006 Dizzy Dean State Tournaments
today with Navarre taking home the State Title in the 7 & Under Division.
Tiger Point finished the tournament in the No. 2 spot with Fossil Park
and Seminole filling out the Final Four. In the 6 & Under Pinellas
Park "A" finished first followed by a very talented Wildwood team coming
in second. Pinellas Park "B" and Perdido rounds out the
Final Four teams finishing third and fourth respectively.
We would like to thank all our volunteers and friends during this
tournament for all their help during a very rain-soaked weekend.
All of us were extremely busy and I apologize for not getting more
coverage on the web sooner. Please check back in the next few days
for photo coverage of the competitions.
